Alright, I know when I'm beaten.
Rather than add the DH Rapide to the existing poll (which means that people who have already voted can't pick it), here's another poll.
Still going to run until the 20th!
If you've voted in the other thread, please can you pick again. _________________ Cheers,

By the way, just to let you know that the last option is actually code for "I don't mind Adrian, you pick for me" _________________ Cheers,

You know, come to think of it, a DC3's not a bad idea.

Well I'm in for a 737 (or two). But I'd really like to build an Anson
No, just kidding. Never again would I build another Anson. Last time I really spat my dummy out and packed in modelling for about 6 weeks.

I'm beginning to think that a certain recently appointed moderator has worked out how to vote multiple times, or is bribing people to vote for the last option.
Can I just say "WE'RE NOT BUILDING ANOTHER ANSON!!!!!". Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!!!!!!! _________________ Cheers,

Last chance to get a vote in and influence the result before I fiddle the polling. So far it looks like we'll be having both a Tiger Moth and Dragon Rapide build. _________________ Cheers,

Well, that's it then, the polling stations are closed!
We've got enough positive votes for the Dragon and the Tiggie, so I shall set up start date polls for them both shortly.
Sorry Dan, no 737 this time. _________________ Cheers,

No worries - sadly we won't be participating, though. We've only just finished a Rapide (admittedly the Heller boxing but the same kit ontheless) and mini bi-planes aren't our bag...

Ah, missed this - why not a 'Civvie in Military Service' build? That way you could build all of the above and encapsulate the whole lot to keep everyone happy (except maybe the Concorde) ? Just an idea.....
Sooo.......the 737 becomes a Federal Grey version used by the USAF or RAAF (with option of AWAC) conversion (The Wedgetail?)
DC3/C47 ... more options than you can poke a stick at.
DC-9 becomes the C-9
DH Rapide - these got a camo or silver makeover.
DH Moth - see DC3
Then there's the VC-10, Anson, DC-9 and a variety of others with multiple schemes, so there's no shortage of variety. It may be broad but I'm sure more people would be keen and you could also pull some real 'out of the bag' stuff of subjects you usually don't see too. Chances are that can then lead to another 'build' theme - Like 'Search and Rescue' or something - where you could go on the do anything from there, even using military aircraft in other schemes (Auster, Seaking, Catalina, C47 or even Lancaster -yes, they were used for this post war). Anyway ...... |
