In the welcome page for XE521, one of our newcomers, several of us have stated that we are thinking of building the Fairey Rotodyne for the upcoming Rotors Group Build - so many, in fact, that I began to wonder if there was now an argument for a separate Rotodyne Group Build at a later date. Do we have an opinion on that?

Would the civil Guru care to set up a poll so that those of us who are thinking of this for the Rotors build don't jump the gun?

Hmmm, interesting thought - on the one hand, we don't get the chance to do many Civvie builds as there aren't that many subjects available, but on the other hand, it could just be done as part of the existing Rotors build...

Anyone else have any opinions?

As one of the mentioners, I have the Rotodyne or a Belvedere for the GB. Given I'm getting snowed under with GB's and the Rotodyne is the more complex and demanding build - I wouldn't be adverse to a Rotodyne only GB at some point in the future.

Right, so we've got two positives - I'll set up a poll then!

I'll like to join the positives if it's not in the very near future, this will give me time to collect the bits and pieces that I need for my ideas.

Regards. Karl.

Can you place your vote in the poll here Karl. I anticipate that the build won't take place until February-March next year, so you should have plenty of time.
