This is a question regarding a point of order that hopefully someone from the mod team can clarify. I'll use the example of the Cars build as it's this one that has confused me.

The dates given for the Cars group build were 1st September to 1st November '07. From this, Paula, Azgaron and I believed that we had until the 1st November - including the 1st November - to complete our builds whilst it was still in the Group Builds forum.

It therefore came as a bit of a surprise to find, on 1st November, that the thread had been moved to the Group Builds Plus forum.

As we all know, rules are to be respected Read the rules

So the question - Does a Group Build quoted as, for example, 1st September to 1st November in fact run from 1st September to midnight on 31st October, meaning that 1st November isn't an active day?

Or did the GB leader in this case have an itchy trigger finger ?

Please help as I'm confuddled!!!

Dan

Hi Dan,

Normally a GB starts at 0001 and ends two calendar months later at midnight, with the GB Plus being 0001 on the following day. Not that it makes much difference because nobody shouts "Time up, you cannot complete your builds!" and locks your threads. The dates are there as a guide only and the move to GB Plus is really just an admin move - done by me - in order to leave current GBs less obscured.

Dave

Edit: removed an unnecessary date!
