For many weeks I have been looking for these kits and have been constantly outbid. Many collecters have been snapping up these old kits. I am fed up with this and have decided to start this petition. I have noticed that many forumers have expressed interest in a re-release of these kits and I hope that lots of these forumers will sign it. When we get a fair number of people, mabey Dave could send an email to Darrell Burge of Airfix.
There are many reasons for these kits being re-released.

1) They are easily the most accurate large scale model of these vehicles.

2) They are a Classic British Kit and one of the diamond kits from Airfix's heyday.

3) A re-release will stop collecters selling these kits for profit instead of building them- thats there purpose to be built!

So please post here if you want this kit to be re-released

Cheers, Luke

They're perfect with the vintage 1/32 Eighth Army, Gurkha, or Australian figures, and in fact a more logical pairing with the multipose figures than the Crusader was, since infantry didn't really work closely with cruiser tanks. The alternative if one wanted a 1/32 tank would be one of the Forces of Valor ready-built jobs at £20.

I'd like Airfix to stick to their guns and their signature scales - 1/32, 1/600, etc - generally.

Add my name to the list, I never built the Grant or Lee (or the 17pdr gun for that matter) on their original release and would like to have a crack at them now.

I have built the Crusader and I agree, probably not the best kit to go with the Multipose chaps.

Still a thing of beauty and Airfix were the only people to give the asymmetric bins and the tracks right. Losing the counterweight from the 75mm isn't a problem and you could also whip the balancing tube out from under 37mm off. That belonged to the M6 gun while most British Grants were fitted with the earlier M5 37mm.

Not sure about the magnetic spare tracks...

I built a Grant years ago and can recall being impressed. I wouldn't mind another crack.
