Hi Rich,
Just to say that I am hoping to build my ANSON as a Mk 1 UA-M, N5314, 269Sqn. Coastal Command, Wick, 1939. using the decals from a 'Kits at War' sheet issues by Dutch decals a number of years ago. It has night black undersides and a pre-war squadron codes.
Looking forward.

I've done a banner for the GB which can be seen in the first post, anyone can use this to put in a signature etc (not on the ATF though as pictures in sigs are not permited!).
Here's a direct link to the image which is 320 by 150 pixels,

Just thought I'd go through some of the more obvious bits which are missing from the Airfix kit but which can be easily rectified.
Lewis gun recess.
Along the fuselage spine behind the turret there should be a recess in which the Lewis gun rests when not in use. This can be filed out and a small piece of plastic card added to make the bottom of the recess box.
Lewis gun mount.
The position of the mount as given is too low and as a result the gun cannot traverse. Cutting off the locating pins and mounting higher on the actual clear turret transparency using clearfix or superglue (if the canopy has been treated with Klear) fixes this.
Tail balance and antenna spigot.
Small pieces of plastic rod can be used to make these.
Nose lights and windows.
In addition to the small floor bombaimers window there should be small windows either side of the nose and in the front. In addition there are two round windows in the roof of the nose. Depending on the version you are doing there could be a circular landing light in the centre of the front of the nose (alternatively a pair of lights located on the left wing if not present in the nose).
These can be drilled and filed out and filled with clearfix to represent the glass.
Landing Gear.
The landing gear is a little short, adding a 2mm plastic extendor to the wheel braces fixes this.
Transparency framing.
The side windows have framing molded into them. The vertical ones are exterior, the diagonal ones are interior framing and should be the interior colour. To complicate this there are the diagonal panels of the emergency escape hatch located at the halfway point each side, these are the exterior colour.
I'll amend with more pictures and diagrams later on.

Well for my first group build EVER!!! I will be building the Anson straight out of the box with no add ons, and it will be the No. 321 Sqn RAF St Eval.
I did try to find some information on Ansons from No. 4 AGS at RAF Morpeth to try and do a variant from there, but so far I have only drawn a blank.

Are there any major differences between the Mk.1 and the T.1 _________________ and was Jerusalem, builded here

Not really, the T (Trainer) designation as far as I understand it, seems to have been given to aircraft assigned to training squadrons with the modified windscreen and schrenk wing flaps.
Other than that the two are pretty interchangeable. On later marks the T designation was given to overseas variants of the C.19, but then used again for the T.21/22 for UK use.

Ansons were used for Navigational Training as T.Mk.1 s and so I think that the interior cabin details may have differed from the Mk.1. Externally though there was little difference even though there were different marks of Cheetah engines used..

As nobody else has commented on it, anybody notice the mistake on the box art for the Anson?
.
.
.
Answer is, it depicts the aircraft N9742 Y*MW as having the early production sloped windscreen rather than the later upright windscreen.
As the box description does not differentiate between early and late types it could be construed as misleading, as what you get in the box is not what is shown on the box art (cue some wag mentioning you could say the same about J*EJ and the Defiant).
Just for general interest here's some info about N9742.
Contract No. 766119/38, 350 Mk.I, N9526-N9999. Built Newton Heath. Delivered 9/1939 - 3/1940.
608 Sqn, UL-U.
321 Sqn, MW-F later Y, Ditched off Holyhead, Anglesey 29/11/1940.
Picture 1, No321 Sqn. Note the different style of roundels on the fuselage!
Picture 2 No321 Sqn K6285
