As there seem to be a few people interested in building the Rotodyne, Dan has suggested it might be better to have a Rotodyne-only build.

If enough people vote for one, then we'll have a build sometime in the new year, so that it doesn't conflict with the Rotors build.

This poll will run for 14 days frm 10th October.

So, the votes are in and we have the required three positives for the build to go ahead.

It looks like the Rotors build will end mid-March, so I'd suggest that the Rotodyne start shortly after, in which case we'll vote for a firm start date in January.

Next thing to sort out is a GB leader - I'm not going to do it, as I don't have a Rotodyne and won't be buying one to join in! Can I have a volunteer from one of the three (so far anonymous!) voters please?

Still need a leader for this build (and for the voters to identify themselves).

Until I know who's in, and have a volunteer to lead, this build will go on hold.

I voted yes and could lead at a push.

By the way, in military GBs you asked for other civil ideas. Well we have a couple of 737-200s to build that I'd like to do this year. I remember BAC mentioning a Britannia version he'd like to do this year, too, and in the dim and distant past Dave mentioned something about a conversion to a USAF variant. Coudl the 737-200 in all its guises be considered. We'd have a variety of liveries, at least!

Thanks Dan.  We might need to just push the build out a bit, so maybe we could think about a 737 build before?  Fancy setting up a poll to gauge interest?
