To get the rough filler down I use the Mastercaster files (the 120/240 and 100/180) I just use the 180 and 240 sides as I find anything else too abrasive and leaves scratches.
To finish the surface I use the Mastercasters filing sponges from this pack. Working up the fineness until it has a nice polish.
For difficult to reach areas and angles I use Tamiya sanding paper, grades 400/800/1200, usually wet.
I normally use Humbrol filler, and it may take a couple of applications/sandings to get a completely smooth finish. If there's any doubt I paint on primer which shows up any defects.

Dragged myself over the finish line eventually! I'm pretty pleased with the way she turned out, even thought you can't actually see a lot of the interior detail! Really enjoyed this GB and seeing all the other participants Anson's, many thanks to everyone who took part!
