The poll has now been set up for the vote to select the start date of the 737-200 GB. Dan will be the group build leader.

The poll itself is in a separate forum which cannot be accessed unless members sign up for the Group Build. To do so:

If you wish to take part in the Group Build, you must sign up using the Usergroups link at the top of the screen (above the Log in/Log out link).

Important: Do NOT sign up as a participant of a Group Build if you only want to view the threads!

To take part in the Group Build:

Click on "Usergroups"

In the "Join a Group" section, select "Group Build - Airfix 737"

Click "View Information"

Click on "Join Group".

As Group Build leader, Dan will then approve your membership and you will be able to vote in the poll taking place here.

Note that at this second the Group is mis-spelled but I'm getting on to Dave to correct that!

I've been looking at interesting decals for this, and there are loads that caught my eye. I can almost see how you could get interested in this airliner lark, having lots of the same hairyplane dressed up in lots of different schemes...

I don't know but I'm sure I saw somewhere declas that allowed you to do the Ryanair Flying Billboards - the bright yellow Hertz one; the Green Jaguar one and the brown Kilkenny one. I reckon they were 737-200s, weren't they?

I've found a few I liked the look of.

There was a Tanzanian Airways one, with giraffes on the tail, a 'Powerpuff Girls' one (not that I'm into the Powerpuff Girls you understand, it just looked fun!), an IcelandAir one with a big green eagle on the tail...

The poll has now run its course and the decision is in place. We have sufficient numbers to make a go of it (only just but nontheless, we're there!). The 737 GB will start April 15th for 2 months.

We had 5 votes for the build to go ahead but only 4 votes for the dates... do we have a closet airliner fan who'd like to join up?

And could a mod update the GB calendar so that the 737-200 GB is added in for the 15th April start date?
