|
|
These are the campaigns which have been nominated for the 2008 Campaign GB. Please vote for your preferred choice, the poll will remain open for two weeks. The three campaigns with the most number of votes will be entered into a second poll to decide the winner.
The GB is a land, sea and air GB open to all Airfix kits, e.g. figures, diorama bases, tanks, vehicles, aircraft, ships etc.

I voted for Africa WW2.
I been thinking about doing a SAAF Hurricane, so that would tie in nicely. _________________ Currently building:

I've gone with Africa. I should have something in the stash that'll be useable. _________________ Collectable kits built here. Baggies, blisters or boxed. You collect 'em, but I'll build 'em. |

Just picked up a nice looking book on the North Africa campaign complete with colour photos this afternoon (whilst browsing in a second hand book/junk store for a nice horse book for SWMBO's impending birthday ), hence my vote for the Africa WW2 campaign.
That and I have a fair amount of choice in the stash for this!

I've just voted for Africa. I've got a Spitfire MkVc I would like to build (can't believe I haven't built a Spit since returning to the hobby yet!!). _________________ 60% of the time it works every time.

I voted for the Spanish Civil War, but I'm quite happy to join in an Africa build.....Mine will probably focus on the campaign in East Africa in 1940 and 1941.
As this is a special can I indulge myself in my choice of kits and or figures?
This should be fun!
All the best

Well that's a pretty convincing win for WW2 Africa, I don't think a second round of voting will be necessary .
I'll set up a poll for when people would like the GB to take place.
