Couldn't make it up, could you?

Adrian, can you remind me, please? We have 5 peeps who say yes. Is the minimum number 3, still?

Yes, it's still 3.  We're in a "Go" situation!

Assuming that we'll start sometime after the Rapide is finished (15th March), then we should start polling for a specific start date sometime around... well, now really!

Given it was your idea, in theory you should be the GB leader Dan - are you happy with that, or would you like someone else to have a turn?

I'm happy to do it if you'd like. This poll still has til Thursday to run, so I propose to let it run its course before starting another one if you agree.

I'll propose 3 dates, probably giving a clear month between the end of the Rapide build and the first proposed date, so 15th April would be the earliest one.

Sorry, hadn't realised it wasn't finished yet!

Sounds good to me Dan - thanks for agreeing to lead.

One more day to get the votes in - though it's going ahead anyway!

I'll close the poll up tomorrow and set up the next poll - for the dates - at the weekend.

So we have 5 all, we're above the threshold of 3 positive replies. Next step will be for me to propose dates for the start of the GB but we can't set up the poll for that til Dave's return next week.

We'll leave at least a month between the opening of this GB and the end of the Rapide one, so I guess we're looking at start dates of:

15th April
15th May
15th June

and running for a the standard two months unless anyone has any strong objections.

Just ordered a fourth one and a set of decals for it. The kit's coming from Bristol but what is a bit of a worry is whether the decals will make it from Arizona in time...

I realise this is about to start and, if I join, it will be the first Group Build I will have done.  I know it says "colourful" but I have just found a 737 in my stash and ordered the BA Negus design decals from Hannants.  Would this be classed as colourful enough?

I don't think that being colourful is an absolute requirement Rob - any type of 737 you like is okay!

Welcome aboard Rob! Any Airfix 737-200 is welcome so I hope you enjoy the build. I've set up your thread in the GB here
