these two red arrows gnats came today

thats sprue shots from one that was open, other one is sealed,
just need to get red paint now and then await the start date and I can get a start on,
should I just build the one or should I do both???
now packing it away for a few days to wait till I can start...

right I decided to crack open the other newer box and found that te mouldings were red.... interesting.
any way painted the inside black as my lack of skill with detail tells me to either do it right or not at all so Im using the safer methode of just going all dark with the interior, so seats and insides painted black and then glued in, then fuselage has been stuck together, doesnt look like the fuselage joins are going to be too bad on this rather small and simple build, pics to folow but my photobucket seems to be playing up...

notice in one of the pics the second gnat [wel actualy the first] was being built just ahead of the gb gnat, I started this an hour too early for it to count in this group build, But I am using it to forsee any fit issues before I hit them, and Im also using it as something to do whilst I wait for bits on the red one to dry......
I now have a little soft spot for this trainer/fighter, and I do like the kit too!

I think we can ease the start time a little gents? what's 60 minutes between friends

I for one would love to see them side by side at the end of your build, especially as the other is finished in yellow.

well a side by side piccy can be arranged, but I didnt take any first stage buid piccies so as far as part of the actual group build I dont think it would count but as a scenic prop for a picture maybey it would????

I now have the undercarriage together and painted black, so as soon as I get some red paint and some glue i can get the plane painted and do the final assembly.....

Dude, you might want to give up the eating while modelling malarkey.....That way poisoning lies, worse than that you will get greasy paw prints on your paintwork!

For what it's worth & all the best

Those photos confused me.  I'm getting stimulated in too many ways at once.

what by the girl in the insurance add or the food?
id like to add that the food was only placed there momentarily whilst I took a photo, I hadnt touched the plane for a good hour or so as the paint was drying,
unfortunately we have had an incident wher it has lost all of its undercarriage after falling off a table, luckily I havnt put any on the yellow one yet so we have a spare u/c
either way one or maybey both are definetly having to go wheels up....
ahhhh well.
