Welcome to the Airfix RAF 90th Anniversary Group Build for which Airfixteen is Group Build Leader.

Any Airfix kit e.g Aircraft, Vehicles, Figures and Structures (ie Control Tower) and Boat(s) such as the RAF Rescue Launch in any scale may be used, provided they are/were in regular service with the RAF between 1st April 1918 to the present day. (No whiff's or future items, or captured equipment).

The build will take place from 1st April, 2008 until 1st June, 2008. This is the "Chat" thread for the Group Build and any reference material should be posted in the Reference Thread.

If you wish to take part in the Group Build, click on the Usergroups link at the top of the page. Then::

Go to the lower of the two drop-down boxes where it says "Join a Group"

Select "Group Build - RAF 90th Anniversary GB"

Click "View Information"

Click on "Join Group".

Airfixteen will then approve your membership of the Group Build and create a thread for you to record progress of your build.

That's all there is to it!

If you are not sure how Group Builds work, you can read the rules here.

Just a reminder.

You dont have to just build aircraft.

You could do the RAF Personnel, RAF Vehicles such as the Emergency Set or Refuelling set etc, or if your feeling floaty, you can build the RAF Rescue Launch!!

I almost missed this one! I've been looking for a new group build to join for a while now. I'd like to have a go at the Club Spitfire XVI.

I'm undecided as to whether I should join in with this one, as I've still not finished the Belfast or Rapide, got the Harrier on the go and the 737 coming up.

I went to my offsite stash over the weekend and dug out a Beaufighter and emergency set that I could build, but... Must... resist....

An Apology

Hello GBers

I am sorry for my lack of involvement in this GB as a Leader.

I seem to have hit the wall, and have many builds on the go on my workbench.

So again im very sorry for being a not so goodGroup Build Leader!

I hope to start to the Bedford refueller soon. so please bear with me!

Luke
