The poll has now been set up for the vote to select the start date of the Seaplanes GB.

The poll itself is in a separate forum which cannot be accessed unless members sign up for the Group Build. To do so:

If you wish to take part in the Group Build, you must sign up using the Usergroups link at the top of the screen (above the Log in/Log out link).

Important: Do NOT sign up as a participant of a Group Build if you only want to view the threads!

To take part in the Group Build:

Click on "Usergroups"

In the "Join a Group" section, select "Group Build - Airfix Seaplanes"

Click "View Information"

Click on "Join Group".

The Group Build leader will then approve your membership and you will be able to vote in the poll taking place here.

Airfixteen is busy with exams at the moment, so cannot be the GB leader.  I'm doing it for now, but if anyone else would like to volunteer it would be much appreciated!

Just under a week to go for the voting.  So far, we have 6 participants, but 7 people voted for it to be the next GB...

Come on - join in!  Would be nice to see someone other than the usual suspects have a go.

I found a couple of cheap S6Bs here

http://www.atpkits.co.uk/catalog/...php?keywords=s6b&x=6&y=11

I've ordered the collectors tin, £6 cheaper than Hannants

That'll be the collector's tin that I bought two of when they came out, thinking that they'd be an investment...  Paid 14 quid for mine too

I've set up your thread anyway Andy, so that you can join in if you want to.  Maybe a converted Rapide?

Aieeeeee!

In all seriousness, I may be a bit late starting, but I would like to join in.  I will probably go for either a 'Murphys's War' Grumman Duck (Inspired by tony's build! ) or a Vought Kingfisher, with an Arado 196 being third choice.....I will just have to save some pennies and steer clear of large armoured cars for a while.

All the best

I voted for this subject but haven't signed up as I don't think any of the projected build dates will suit
I will make a decision nearer the time
I really fancy doing a mini-seascape/diorama, but other GB's and my holiday take a large chunk out of the schedule  Nailbiting

The poll for the start date is now over, and 15th June was the date selected.

If anyone else would like to join up before then, feel free - we've got 14 participants now, so it's a popular build!
