I'm thinking of a few vehicles . The 'Queen Mary' a fuel bowser and some fire and emergency support !!  Think

Although I wouldnt mind a go at an aeroplane ..such as the Boulton Paul Defiant
But it's not out yet and iv'e heard it has a lot of problems with fit and lack of cockpit detail !??

Think

The Airfield Recovery Set  has blue/grey no 79 as the main body colour but shouldn't it be RAF Blue number 96 ?

96 is more suitable for uniforms
79 is probably better for vehicles

started on the Queen Mary, filled in the fuel tanks and some sink marks . currently pondering what colour to paint the interior . Using paula and dans ref. pic its looks like a pale blue .
http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/about7735.html
Also noticed there is a clip of one in 'Reach for the skies' a B+W film but it looks like there is a white trim and the vehicle with some of the beams that cross on the sides painted white too.

Here is the 'Queen Mary' so far. Used Humbrol Acrylic 79 with about 10% white added as it looked a little too dark. Also cut out some windows from clear plastic sheet.
I was wondering if it would be blue all over or would the chassis be black ?

The rear of the trailer has two registration plates and there are two decals , a square one and oblong one for each plate .???

Almost finished weathering the tractor and trailer and have completeed the Thorneycroft crane and given it a coat of Klear ready for weathering. Have left the wheels and bogies off to make the weathering a bit easier then will stick it all together before a final matt coat, although i do like the shine on the tractor !

I've been a bit stuck myself.....I had a small splurge on stuff that I probably didn't need and completely forgot to buy useful things like rattle-cans and liquid poly!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work Janey, the armour side of the site has been a bit too quiet for my liking of late.

All the best

ACE kits are short-run technology, meaning the moulds deteriorate quite fast.....I'd recommend snapping their kits up early, as I did with the RSOs, 88mm PAKs and more recently the Dingos.

All the best
