Is the aerial mast raked backwards or is it an optical illusion? The exterior colours look good, but the interior colour looks too brown. It could be a function of the light, but out of interest, what colour did you use? _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill |

For the interior colour I used Games Workshop Camo Green. _________________ Airfix Club 500006 |

You might want to try something different in future:
Xtracrylic http://www.hannants.co.uk/search/?FULL=XA1010
or
Xtracolour X11
or
Humbrol 78
are good matches. _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill |

I think it's just a trick of the light, because in the flesh it looks alot better _________________ Airfix Club 500006 |

I don't doubt you. From the photos, it varied from something like Olive Drab to US Interior Green (on my monitor). I've often wondered whether the Azure blue or Mediterranean Blue would have been sprayed into the wheel wells or not. I built my last Mid-East Spitfire with wheels-up so I didn't have to worry about it:) _________________ “The farther backward you can look, the farther forward you are likely to see.” Winston Churchill |

| I'm going to do another build for this GB. I'm either going to do my Heller 1/72 Spitfire Mk XVI (from the Airfix Spitfire 70th Anniversary set) or my 95th Rifleman, or maybe both. We'll see |
