Hi Fred, I do not have a preference for the starting month. I will accommodate which ever month is chosen. Not a lot of help, I know. :(

Before I post up a poll to narrow down the start date does anyone want to shout out any preference of which month to start the GB in?
I'd like to narrow the choice down to just three.

Since "Next 6 months" won the poll, I guess June/July/August would be the likely choices?

I am in for this- my first group build!. I think the build should include all four airfix kits for a bit of variety. single subject ships become a bit monotonous as due to the small numbers of each type built there is little variety in colour schemes, type variations etc. a late start date would help. Regards, Walter.
Hopefully we'll get a variety of these ships being built.

I've got my eye on a few of the GB's at the moment so maybe August would suit me but happy to go along with everyone else

Hi to all,

I've a few 1/72 boats in my stash and I would like build either my Revell S-boat or flower class corvette. Is the GB limited to Airfix only?
When would the build start ?.
The flower would probably take about a year to complete, so that's probably too long-still in the research stage, and waiting on copies of original drawings from Glasgow University archive to arrive, hope I can produce something decent.

Our Group Builds are for Airfix kits only.
This one started a month ago and has one month yet to run.
If you have an Airfix kit you are welcome to join in.

The end date is not a target, its not a competition, its just an aiming point. Our Group Builds never get closed and locked. One can finish the build well after the end date and post up reports. I'm still finishing some subjects years after the GB ended.
