Hello all.

Its years since I did Airfix modelling. It started as a lad I had built a couple of kits then when I was around 11, I had to stay with grandparents for summer '71 holidays and built the following:-

Captain Scarlet Angel Intercepter
Douglas A-1J Skyraider
Saab Draken
SH-3D Sea King
De Havilland Mosquito
Consolidated PBY-5A Catalina
Lockheed C-130K Hercules
Beaufighter and Me109
Me110 and Spitfire IX
Focke wolf 190 D
Gloster Gladiator Mk1
Mosquito and Me262
Lancaster B1

They hung from the ceiling for quite a while, then music, girls and growing up, they got put in a box, crushed and then thrown. In my 20' and 30's got into RC Scale Boat, politics in the local club killed that off and I got a OO railway and a RC Rock Crawler about 5 years ago, but as the railway approaches completion I was looking for something to tinker with and at local model show purchased a Italeri Crusader III and a 1:48 scale Spitfire Mk Vb. Its been fun to build and relearning some techniques, still to add transfers and weathering.

Now want to get some more.....
