This is the real problem. At one point, I believe Rich did set up an ATF page, but he had to shut it down because of misuse. Bear in mind the admin and mod team are volunteering their time and it's hard enough as it is to keep tabs on a forum of this size. For the few times that a Facebook group would add something unavailable on the forum, the additional effort isn't worth it in my opinion.

Adrian, it certainly would be an extra thing and the focus must always be on the forum here. Despite being in various Facebook groups, the forum here is and always will be my modelling home - unless I'm chucked out. Roadhousedisco, there isn't an ATF group on Facebook though, is there?

No, there is not an ATF FB group, but those of us on FB have formed a group and keep each other informed. See my first post in this thread for details.

That's what we have been doing Ratch so that nobody thinks the great ATF had folded :thumb:

I think that to place a message on airfixtributeforum.co.uk as suggested by Dave Cov is possibly the best way to go as that page was always available during the outage and everyone can get there when searching for the Airfix Tribute Forum using any of the search engines. Just my two penny worth.

The Airfix Tribute Forum Website has been re-designed to include information about the status of the forum. Should the forum not be available then the website should be visited to find out what is going on.

There will not be an ATF Facebook page but the website does have the facility to share information with Facebook, Twitter and Google+ users.

More information about the new website can be found here.

Dave
