A 1970's Airfix Ford Escort but sadly without an original box, without instructions and I aint a clue if decals were originally in with the kit ?

Happy days

Tamiya Paint Retarder (Acrylic) and Panel Line Accent Color (Brown), both via Ebay from Taiwan.

Lincolnlanc, I don't think the Airfix Escort would originally have had decals. The number plates of the 1/32 scale cars were printed on the instructions to be cut out.

Quite a lot! Using my club 'voucher' the USAAF Bomber Re-supply set and the new 1:72 Mustang (Blue Nose). Then this week, 1:48 P40 and Defiant and 1:72 Typhoon and Defiant. Very pleased, just about got enough FH for one more full passport and then that's it, I've promised Mrs V no more kits for the foreseeable...technically have now built up my 'retirement stash'...we'll see...:-)

Not as interesting, as some of the goodies, listed above, but from China, 9 rolls of hobby masking tape. Ranging from Tamiya standard 6mm wide, and then 2.5, 2, 1.5, 1, 0.7, and 0.4mm. Also a roll of 3mm wide tape for curves. So if and when I get round to building my Cessna models, I will be able to do the striping, easier down the fuselages.

I have just received the below selection from Kingkit. In 2013 I did an oversized 6 foot by 4 foot diorama of "Operation Sealion" and loved the experience. I have now decided to embark on another similar out of control project, which will be the Battle of France 1940 and hence the purchases below. The 105mm guns are not for this project, which is a shame as they would have given Jerry a bit of a shock.
