I spend a lot of time staring at auction catalogues online and elsewhere as part of my work, and am constantly shocked at how much lots of kits seem to go for. The best e-bay buys I have had have been here in France; the job lots of models on the UK site only seem worth it when they have no boxes or instructions (I have no intention of collecting pristine boxed models to line my walls; kits are there to be built). Early rising on a sunday is my way of ensuring a bargain, as more or less every week I come back with something (last weekend a pair of unopened Airfix shermans for 3 euros, and an opened but (thankfully) complete large scale Airfix Tornado for 2 euros. Best ever buy the classic Bentley complete with Airfix motor for 5 euros and three Tamiya 1/35 military vehicles still shrink wrapped for 5 euros the lot! Compared with the lots sold at Stroud auctions earlier this year where I spent a small fortune there is no comparison. Now I really must start whittling down that stash.....

I got an academy Mig 21 for £3.50. Not a convincing kit but I had not seen one before.
Akkura Mig 21 PFV twin pack for £13.50. These are super!
Heller SAAB Lansen for £11. I am "over the moon Brian" as I have wanted one for years!
All including P+P.
