That's just a magnificent piece of work!   The photos on the link show even more details and attention to detail.

Wow, what a work of Art. Please pass on my congratulations to Tommy & Tina who deserve the highest praise. :notworthy:
It is good to know that this magnificent piece now has a caretaker who knows its true value and will be able to people it appropriately.

That's a lovely bit of work, and some very nice rocky outcrops by yourself, as you say a bit5 of vegetation - grass tufts etc, and some of your amazing figures, and it will really come to life.
Do you happen to know what all the buildings are made out of, and also how did you go about making the rocky outdcrops?
cheers

Beautiful work. The only problem is that it is still too small for all your figures...

All the buildings are made from card with a covering of embossed stone effect paper..the sort used for railway dios. The roofs are have actually been built..the ones that can be removed, with actual beams etc made using matchsticks and then covered with individually cut tiles.
The flooring they made using artists plaster..just poured on, levelled and then when dry, the stone effect scratched in. I may redo this as some of the slabs are a bit large, they would be about 10 x 10 ft in real life.
Wndows..the ones with a lead window effect are handcut with a scalpel.
