I was really pleased with the paint job on the Churchill. I used the "hairspray technique" that involves spraying the green painted model with hairspray and then coating with acrylic white. This is then rubbed off using a wet cotton bud in appropriate areas.

I broke one of my own rules as the Sd Kfz 222 is 1/76 BUT my excuse is that it is so covered in snow that you can hardly tell.... :shock:

I adjusted the BW setting on the camera so the pictures came out blue with an overall cold look. (If you look really close you can see the cold breath coming out of the crew figures...)

I particularly like it in atmospheric black and white

Thanks Mike. The backdrop is from a calendar and the base is a simple wooden plinth with a grass mat that has been sprinkled with Citadel snow. Seems to work!
