I always loved these as a child and built them in a day  . I wanted to do this as it was supposed to be built but better than in my youth . A great bit of nostalgia and one that I have enjoyed . These were originally done by Fundimential then Amt/Ertl and Airfix boxed this one and the Praying Mantis which I have completed now on to the tarantula .

Love it!
At the mad scientists lab nearby : "Has anyone seen Herbert? I let him off the leash for some exercise, and he just seems to have wandered off..."

Reminds me of one of my favorite movies-- "The Black Scorpion." They ran out of money during post-production, so the giant scorpion appeared as an empty black "scorpion shape" that should have been filled with an animated scorpion of some kind, but they ran out of money. So--"The Black Scorpion!"

Hi Paul it does not give a scale but they are just a little bit smaller than 1/72nd figures . I suppose you could get away with them in that scale . Thanks for the remarks

How's that, Captain? :o
You and me should go to the back of that building -Airfix's factory- to close up the spacetime opening, so no other gigantic scorpion, mantis or spider could enter our Universe from the Lovecraft Singularity!
I know that beast: I was chasing her all along the Lybian Desert in 1942!!

Very good Diorama, Andy :!: :!:
