This is a “snapfit” model that I have made some very minor modifications on. Very toyish but the details are on the whole correct. The base leaves a lot to be desired as it hides the more interesting side of the telescope. This is my first attempt at doing smooth foil and I keep seeing greasy fingerprints which I clean off with meths, hopefully they don’t show up on the photos. I ended up using white lint free gloves to try and keep prints off it but I kept forgetting to put them on :airhead:

Well for a first attempt at smooth foil that has come up fantastic! :notworthy:
I've never tried it - what glue do you use for foil?

Thanks Ben, I used Micro Metal Foil Adhesive from Microscale for the smooth bit  and superglue and Revell Contacta special for the crinkly bits (sorry for all the technical jargon :). These chaps were a great help...
