Original series Viper. Nice kit to build, especially for sci-fi. Much better fit and assembly of the MkII kit with no filler needed. Comes with decals for 2 versions from the series. Seen here in a 'late' or cleaner 'b' scheme marking. Also noticeably bigger than the MkII.

Nice build, very subtle weathering and shading :thumb: .

Very cool. Is that Starbuck or Apollo in there?

You get to choose. Oddly enough, I modelled this after a few shots from the original series 'The Lost Warrior' - which involved a scene where Starbuck sneakily jumped into Apollo's machine. Apollo then launched after him in his but too late to stop him. This would look more like Apollo in his. There's another one to come as well, in white with the early markings which looks far more weathered, this is just ticking along. Seeing these kits are quite cheap I was thinking of getting the Mk VII at some stage as well.

Nice! I am building a Mk.II this year. My local model club has monthly themes we build too. I believe our September theme is any car/plane/spacecraft from a movie or TV show. Perfect choice for me. I will be referring to yours when I start building!

Version 1(a) of the Moebius kit. Early Mk1 done in gloss white but matt now from weathering, scapes and bruising - based on 'The Lost Warrior' episode. Ironically, this was based on an actual photo of the real space shuttle Atlantis over a few missions showing distinct discolouration and wear.
