Very nice model Chris, does it light up? I spent 2 years building the "Enterprise D", for my mate, as a thank you for being my best man, (so he was waiting for awhile), and that had all fibre optics and lights inside it.

No working lights in her. Its not a big kit and lights are a bit out of my skill set!

About 20 cm long, more or less. Much smaller then the old AMT kits of the 1960s.

Looks really great!

Love Star Trek and these models look good. I'm tempted by the movie version of the enterprise .......

Dave

That looks great. I hope that my Revell version of this fine ship comes out just as good as yours.
I love Star Trek (not so keen on the movie reboots though)

I know its a bit :ot: , but has anyone been to the "Star Trek Experience", in Las Vegas? Its now closed down, but they had a lot of the original models, (all different sizes, some were huge), from the series and movies.

Thanks everyone. According to the books written about the show the original model was actually white, as was the movie version. But some now say it was gray, with blue tint, gray with green tint, and so on so who knows. I like this gray version myself.
