The Browning is for the chin "turret" option on the Mk.IV rather than the wing gun.

One of the major online model reviewers pointed out something with the engine collector rings.

Airfix molded two cooling airscoops to the collector ring. You might want to remove those if you're building the English or Finnish Blenheim.

The Canadian-licensed version named the Bolingbroke did have those however. (Ed - Another online model reviewer pointed out those aren't cooling airscoops. They are scoops for piping engine-hot air into the cabin, a necessity when flying in the great white north..)

You are right, instructions for the Mk.1 show the gun port, but no gun for the left wing.

I don't know all the details of the runners split, but Airfix do also offer Blenheim IV variants, which may explain the cooling scoops on the collector rings.
