Yesterday, over Lake, IoW, a Spitfire with a helicopter in close formation. I suspect there was a film crew in the chopper :Pilot:

V22 Osprey heading towards RAF Sculthorpe; earlier on, fast jets for long periods over Holkham beach (couldn't see what they were...)

Bristow's ASR Sikorsky S-92 - taking a diver to Murrayfield (Spire) hospital's hyperbaric unit - first one I have seen on this duty.

About 30 minutes ago a B52 flew over, unusual because RAF Fairford's runway is at right angles to the approach it was flying!!

Earlier today, it was a B52 followed about 5 minutes later by a B1B Lancer. I bet there are loads of photographers at the end of Fairford's runway.

Although I haven't seen any, this is a thread regarding the recent sightings of B1 and B-52 planes from Fairford.

Two of the Belugas, F-GSTC first followed a couple of hours later by F-GSTF, both passing us almost directly overhead as they flew north from their base at Toulouse. Ugly and misshapen on the ground, stately and serene in the air, they really did seem like queens of the sky as they floated by at a steady 400kts, quite unlike the usual crowd of A319s/320s and B737s.

Slightly off topic maybe but for a couple of weeks now, every morning at about 9:00 we have had three large V's of geese fly over. Presumably on their way from roosting to one of the many lakes around here.

Yesterday was going to a building site in east Belfast, right under the flight path from city airport,
just as I got out of the van an osprey flew over at about 400 to 500 feet, directly above me, I'm guessing they were refuelling at city airport
