I'm restoring an old Fujimi Hawk, probably will end with a kuwaiti or early zimbabwean scheme, as they are both very sparse in markings (and I don't have decals for the kit). Searching in the spares box for ordenance to hang in the wings, found the 100gal drop tanks from an Airfix Hunter. Anyone knows if the Hawk can carry those drop tanks... or if I am commiting a capital sin in doing it?
Thanks in advance
Fernando

Thought both the Hunter and (export) Hawk carried 190 Imp gal tanks - but no doubt the experts are about to correct me ...

Made a revision of all the books about the plane and search a lot of images and seems that no hunter drop tanks were carried by the Hawk. Then probably I'll hang a pair of ubiquous Mk-82 bombs from the pylons

How's about a pair of AIM-9 Sidewinders?

Just a thought...

Thanks for the advices. The true is that it wasn't a very serious project, just an old kit I wanted to finish (and already did it) and have those spare drop tanks. As good renditions of Sidewinders are scarce I dropped the idea to hang it in this model.

Found a use for the drop tanks: they are close in shape to BLU-1 napalm tanks. I'll see If I could build the box tails
