I'm almost sad that this is the last of the Matchbox kits you have to do, I enjoy watching you build them. The Krupp is special to me as it is one of the first kits I built. I recall my base looked like yours does, only less neat and mine was finished :D

Made some more progress today and added the Matador cab to it's chassis and also assembled the tank body:

I have also thinned down the front mudguards a little.
More to follow

Right now back from a week at the coast and have managed to get the base for the Krupp completed:

Image Image

Added some 'grass' and a 'downed' phone wire. Also used Klear in the ditch to represent some water however it's not really visible in the photos.
Have also got the Krupp itself to the decal stage, so that will be next:

I have also had chance to work on the updated QL Refueller and the modified Matador Refueller. The interiors are now painted and I have glazed the windscreen of the Matador:

More in the next day or two, thanks for looking :thumb:

Thanks Guys :thumb:
Spent tonight refurbing a couple of Bedfords (an MK and a Tac Refueller). The Refueller had been in the wars a bit as it had been dropped when I was moving it to the new cabinets a few months back and as I had some white metal wheels I'd got from Friendship Models I thought I'd change them as well. As it turned out I had chipped a part from the Refueller at the time of dropping and hadn't realised, so I had a little scratch building to do to replace the part plus the wheels. Fortunately the MK just had it's wheels changed, here they are:

The new wheels really fill the wheel arches giving them, I think, a better stance.
More with the others tomorrow with luck, just needed a little interlude this evening, plus the heat doesn't bode well when applying paint by brush to large ish areas!

The last matchbox/Revell 1/76 kit is now complete the Krupp Protze and 3.7cm Pak:

Image

I have added a driver and passenger plus I have utilized some figures from the Revell 234 kit. Additions to the truck are the glazing plus the width indicators on the front wings and the addition of 'grass to the base.
More in the relevant galleries if you like it.

Progress a pace with the Bedford Tipper and have managed to get to this stage:

Image Image

Essentially it entails shortening the chassis and repositioning the storage boxes, fuel tank and spare wheel carrier.
Some of the conversion parts will need some adjustment and filling though as they were quite flimsy in places.
A good run with this one this morning however the Matador Refueller has gone slightly backwards as I've had to remove the glazing as, when I added the roof, some of the glue has affected the clear plastic I'd used for the screens so I'll be having a think with this one and try and glaze from the outside.
