That Tiger decal looks familiar, where has it been used before?

Unfortunately Mike I have no idea
A little progress today with the Matadors. First the Half track:

Image

This now needs some decals ( I will be doing it as if it went into service), and then some detail parts need to be added like mirrors, steps and headlamps.
I may even do a 5.5 inch gun to complement it.
Next the tanker got some paint:

Image

Next up for this may well be decals before I add the detail parts to this one , including windscreen glazing bar, mudguards (modified), spare wheel, mirrors and headlamps.
More to follow

Pushed on today with the M151A2 Jeep and it's now complete:

Have also now got the tracks on the Lee M3A5 and a first coat of OD:

The armoured Jeep has also progressed with some basic painting of some the stowage:

More to follow.
Thanks for looking :thumb:

As one leaves the bench another gets added except in this case it's another two. First off this morning I decided to attack this one:

Image

However it's not OOB but being converted to an ARV using the S&S Models kit.
After around three hours I had this:

ImageImage

The conversion kit is really for the Armourfast Cromwell but seems to go well with the Airfix offering. Next up some paint.
This afternoon I turned my attention to this one, which I managed to source last weekend at our local 1940s show and yes it was £4.25p  :

Image

This time it will be in the guise of a RAF 4 Tonner. presently it has been assembled into it's three sub-assemblies of cab, body and chassis, but I have them all dry fitted together for the photo. I have also added a front tow hook, gemstones for headlamps and some Wee Friends metal wheels. I have also thinned the rear mudguards:

Image

More to follow as the bench is getting busy now

The armoured jeep looks great, (so do all the other models, you are building). Models are so expensive out here, I was looking at some Airfix starter sets, in a shop the other day, and they wanted $24.99 AUS, (around 15 pounds).

Ratch, they have their own website too. Just google s&s models. They seem to have lots of conversion kits, I have a lee grant tr31 arv kit from them to do as well for the Airfix kit. I bought both of them about a couple of weeks ago.

A little more progress with the Matador Half Track. It is now sporting it's unit colours, purely fictitious of course  :

ImageImage

The decals still need covering with Klear and then matting down.
It will just need a few detail parts adding like headlights, rear body stays and some mirrors and arms and I'll be calling it complete.
More soon.

More progress to the point of the Matador Half track being completed:

Image

Added headlights, wipers and mirrors from scratch, only the tracks came in the conversion kit
Not the best application of decals either to my dismay, this may have to be revisited.
More pictures and details in the relevant galleries for those that wish to know more.

Busy day today and managed to get both the Cromwell ARV and the M3A5 Lee Tank completed:

ImageImage

The Cromwell is Airfix plus the S&S Models conversion kit, the M3A5 Lee is Airfix plus the Matador Late M3/M3A5/Grant II /M3A3 conversion kit.
More pictures in their relevant gallery entries.

More progress with the Bedford MK, it now has a coat of paint, some mirrors and indicators for the front:

More to follow.

Had a good morning's progress on the bench this morning. First off I completed the majority of the painting on the Bedford MK along with fitting the wheels, front grill (still needs paint) and the rear light boards:

Image

I then fitted the wheel centres to the Bedford QL Refueller kit bash:

Image

I then turned my attention to the 1/35 Armoured Jeep and got most of the painting completed on that:

ImageImage

Then finally, as if I haven't enough on, I decided on this:

Image

A little work for a couple of hours saw it to this:

Image

But as you know I've been doing a few conversions of late so it will have this conversion kit, again from SandSModels, to turn it into a M31 TRV:

Image

More to follow, thanks for looking :thumb:
