The wait is over :D
Started this last September but had to stop because i had a operation on my hand, got down all my modeling equipment and now making another start on this, Airfix Tornado GR 4 Dambusters 1/48.
work done up until September, mostly main construction, the seats have had Tamiya tape for belts and pull handles made from sprue, i hope the fishing weight will be enough to stop it being a tail sitter :pray:
Image
today's work; just made up all the pay load and painted the paveways.
Image
i have also got this down from the loft to build as well;
Image
i had the nice new humbrol mat and the work station(not shown) for Christmas :D

done a small amount of work on the He 219, a bit more assembly done, ive made the cockpit floor and instrument panel and added some plastic card to the sides of the fuselage sides to made it look a bit more interesting, going to scratch build a little more to the cockpit but not too much.

Thanks gents :thumb:
Update on the He219 uhu, i have now done most of the assembly but i must say this is fighting me all the way,all the parts have flash and a lot of sink marks and it is a filler monster :evil: i have now had enough of filling and sanding and im calling it a day,one more note all the weights i put in the nose its still a tail sitter :mad: so i think i will have to add a bit of clear stretch sprue to the back end :scratch:
