As I have not painted any figures for ages I thought I would have a bash at a WW2 subject, so a bought a box of 1/76th scale German infantry. I was surprised how few examples there were on the forum, so here are some pictures to set the record straight. The figures were nice and clean and the mouldings crisp. I painted them with Humbrol acrylics and used model colour 70920 German Uniform for the tunic and trousers. The finish is a mix of washes and dry brush. The result was quite pleasing:

I still consider these the 'new' Germans. I don't know why, but the old ones emit a really evocative 'plasticky' smell...
