My version of the Saracen.  Nice kit but needs a bit of labour as the hull is about 2mm too long.

Thanks Bob.  Bit of dry brushing never goes amiss!

A lot of work there, opening windows, adding s/built headlights, rear view mirrors and a packing crate etc.Not to forget a sill above the window ports. The machine gun barrel seems to have undergone a transformation between your first and third image.Dry brushing has come off well.Well done.

Nice work.....The extra detailing really improves the kit.  8-)

All the best

Thanks to all.

Good spot Ron.  The machine gun barrel in the first photo had a small tube added to make it look hollow but this got slightly bent and looked awful so I replaced witha  new (straight!!) barrel.

B4en.  For the headlamps I used Little.lenses that I picked up at a local modelshow.  Not cheap but come in a variety of sizes and colours and I don't think can be beaten.  But be warned they are fiddly.

Pretty toy like. It took a bit of work. Removed lots of stuff and replaced it. When done, it does look like a Saracen.

Nice builds.
Here is mine, built out of the box bar adding the mirrors and the antenna. replaced the bren which as we all know is really bad with one from a valient mininatures set which is a little oversized but is a better looking one.

Looks good.  Particularly like the antennas - make mine look like telegraph poles!  Good effort.

Here's mine own small effort- just a few mods to a beast that really needs a bit more surgery- I did detail the front top air intakes and the rear door area. One of these days I might do a series of these as the basic kit is good enough but like most of the ex-JB kits too heavy on the detail which really needs thinning down.
Stu
ps please excuse the sloppy paint job as usual.
