Whilst strolling around a few websites I notice there are a few folk who think this is a Mk4 Bedford.  Please it is a 4 tonne Bedford MK, just as the refueller is a Bedford MK. One bright chap who will remain nameless seems to think it is not as good as the JB version ????  it seems that Airfix still has a stubborn anti-market in some areas. :rotfl:

Thankfully it seems most of our lot do indeed know the difference.
If I can remember the website I'll sneak back and see if the posts are still there.

I added front indicators and door mirrors using the staple method.

Nice work James.  I particularly like the way you have picked out the ropes holding the tilt down and the stripes on the rear mudguards.  Little touches like that make all the difference. :Clapping:

That conversion kit worked  out all right.  Food for thought for next time I cross paths with kingfisher.  Excellent result.

Great Robert Redfords lads :D

I had never even contemplated building one of these until I seen one in the sale section on a trip to Hobbycraft a few years ago, so I bought it and it had been at the bottom of the list of models to build. But just for a change I thought it would be nice to build something without either wings or tracks, so here is my little truck:

I really have enjoyed this build, a very nice kit once again let down by the kit decals, of which I only used the number plates, both of which shattered in to anout 8 pieces :angryfire: the other decals came from a 1/72 AS-90 kit, thats why the hazard plates are a wee bit short :juggle:

Nice work Chris. All those little detail bits certainly pay off. I particularly like the wing mirrors. :notworthy:
