The SADF Operation Savannah version. As stated in some of my other posts on vehicles in Ops Savannah, the SADF vehicles were unmarked and decked with a two tone camouflage pattern to hide the involvement of the SADF in the early days of the Angolan civil war. As for the Landrovers, the Bedfords turned out to be unsuitable for the African theater operational conditions and were very quickly replaced with Unimogs during this operation. Lessons learnt were incorporated in the later series of SAMIL trucks developed in South Africa for the SADF.

I tried to give it the dusty look so prevalent in the African bush.
