I remembered I had this in the stash.

It was only a few hours into the build when I noticed an entire sprue missing  :!: A raid of the spares box found some of the crucial parts. Plastic card will have to do for the rest.

After lots of filler and sanding, the kit was ready for spraying.

Here with two coats of HU 165 MSG on it

The radome was sprayed Tamiya light primer which is a good match for HU 166 Light aircraft grey.

The start of the masking for the black spine.

Its a pretty poor kit and overpriced as well. I think James is the only person who's built this boxing on here.

Ooh, where to start...?!

Basically it's now pretty old and the fit was never any great shakes, plus the detailing is very average by today's standards.

Spot on and more flash than kit. Hopefully a new version of this will appear in the not so distant future.

Looking great.  You're encouraging me to finish mine too.  (I started it a month ago but it's been put away while we have family visiting for Christmas!)

Youve done a great job on that Tom :P
Its not the best F3 kit by far but with some TLC a nice looking F3 can be made 8-)
