I need some motorbke tyres
rim is 40mm Diameter, 16mm width

and up to 55mm tyre outside diameter. Any ideas?

It would help to know the scale of the model (from the measurements you quote I'm guessing it's bigger than 1/25, but then it is very many years since I last built a motorcycle kit). Some suppliers of aftermarket car wheels/tyres also cover bikes, but their ranges are generally sorted by scale - or you find what you want by inputting the prototype tyre size. However, I do have a couple of thoughts - first, these guys have a pretty wide range and might be worth searching, second if you can't find a specified bike tyre of the right size, it's possible a car tyre from a different scale might work (lots of Renault 4s and Citroen Meharis around here, and whenever I see one I think their tyres would look better on a bike).
