Hi

I have found one of these in my loft, the information I've managed to find out (which isn't much) leads me to believe it may be a rare item. I wondered if anyone has any idea of what this is worth? It's brand new and boxed and the parts are in a sealed bag.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice.

From what I can recall from occasionally seeing them on E Bay you may have struck pay dirt in your loft.

Good luck if selling it.

Details of the kit can be found here
Most here are builders rather than collectors :)

Lanibehr, the Airfix 1/24 James Bond Toyota 2000GT is sort after by Airfix and James Bond collectors alike. I paid about £110 for my kit.

Had a quick look on E-bay.

Please bear in mind this what someone is looking to get for it, not necessarily what the market is willing to pay.

Hi

Thanks for your replies. I clicked on the link in the previous post... I think it says something about it being incorrectly listed as 723 (should be 732?) but mine says 723 on the box. I'm not sure what this means. Is there a book that I can buy with prices in?

Thanks in advance :)

I think I'd be a bit worried if it is 'brand new'...
I have seen them go for over £200 on ebay, yet another didn't attract a bid at £150, but can't remember it was mint or not. The best way to find out for sure is to monitor the auction site(s) for a bit and see if any crop up.

It wouldn't do you much good because the prices would only be relevant at the time it was researched

Mine is 723 as well. Looks like a misprint in the catalogue. The 1967 and 1969 Price List have the correct number (723). The 1968 Price List, 1968 Kit List and 6th Edition (1969) catalogue have the wrong number (732).
