Some great models in this gallery. I know I may be biased but I really like the Fortress III :) And some many builds from Hewman100!!! :shock: I still haven't managed 1!
But really interesting subject and great builds all.

Amazing story about John Cruickshank. But what does "he had to foe given a blood transfusion" mean? I've never encountered this usage before, and it's the same way over at Wikipedia. Is it a typo from the original citation?? Should it be "he had to be given a blood transfusion???"

Wiki was the only copy of the citation I could find. That's what happens when you 'copy and paste' without reading. :wink:
If that had been transcribed from the one in the London Gazette, I can see how in the typeface and size used a 'b' could be misunderstood as 'fo'
