Would anyone be able to help with a colour scheme.In the middle of building an italera 1/48 tornado and im confused over what colour 16 squadrons The Saint is.
Instuctons say black but photos im useing for some reference is green.Which is correct??????

I am assuming you're referring to 75th Anniversary display scheme on ZA591
It is very definitely black (not gloss), but it does have a greenish tinge in one photo I've come across.
I think that's most likely down to light conditions and/or camera settings.

By the time you paint it Hu:33 or 85 and put your mattcote on it, it should have this sheen.

I can't recall seeing a black "The Saint" as a Tornado before, btw.

I can't recall having seen the specific anniversary Tornado the OP is asking about (real or model), but I have seen normal Tonkas in "high visibility black", and it's normally a sheen as @Brews says.

So, to make my life easier, I'd paint gloss to get the decals to go down easy, then silk varnish.
