or to be precise, the colour of the outside of a control tower i.e the Airfix one.
Any thoughts on what would be the best colour? I'm thinking of a grey yellow mix.

Hi Shuck

I did mine in Green Humbrol matt 30, but perhaps Humbrol 75 might also be okay. Not sure about camouflage, most that I've seen in the flesh have been single colour.

From old towers that I have seen, they all appeared to have had a single colour scheme, rather than being camo'd up.
More research is needed.
Cheers matey!

Oh yes! I know all about that site! I've visted a fair number of the towers as well. I shall have to get the paints out and have a 'Rolf Harris throw them together session' and see what come up.
Cheers
