Does anyone have any information on what color the interior of a Daimler Scout Car (Dingo) would be? Various sources suggest that is was the same as the exterior, but would the version with a hard roof be white inside?

The one at Enniskillen Castle Museum is the same green inside as out and it has the steel roof panel. This Dingo is not restored but as withdrawn from service.

If you look at this one http://data.primeportal.net/trucks/de_c ... 1_of_6.JPG it clearly shows the interior colour is the same.

I am not sure if this is an accurately restored vehicle

Thanks very much for the info. Very helpful. I was leaning to making it the same as the exterior and so I will!

The standing instruction to factories was that any surfaces that might in any circumstances be exposed to enemy observation must be painted with the exterior colour. Although some of the first production Mk.Is were Aluminium inside as per pre-war practice.
