Hi all, can anyone tell me the Humbrol paints to use for the green & brown in this scheme & also the internal colour for a Humvee in this scheme, thanks in advance for any help. I have found that Tamiya do what they call Nato green (TS61) & brown (TS62) but can't find an equivalent.

The bottle versions for Tamiya are XF67(NATO Green) and XF68(NATO Brown). An alternate to XF67 is XF58 Olive Green, though it isn't quite the same, and ditto for XF64 red brown. Not sure about Humbrol. But the main interior color of a HMMWV is NATO Green, I am not sure of the FS equivalent. The transmission shifter and the e-brake are black. The instruments and placards are also black. The steering wheel is the same NATO green as are the light switches to the left of the instrument panel. The horn button in the center of the steering wheel is black, it is a rubber item. If you weather the vehicle, remember the body is aluminum (except the hood, which is fiberglass and should stay green/brown); the frame, the shackles, tow pintle, brush guard are all steel primed in black, but camoflaged in the vehicle color. Rust should be kept to a bare minimum, if at all. Hope this helps.

Hi Rich, thanks for the info'. These must be fairly new as they don't appear on the conversion charts I've looked at so I still haven't got a Humbrol #. Not to worry I'll just have to go with what looks right. Thanks again.

If you need any other color assistance with a HMMWV, let me know.
