I have an M18 I keep meaning to get building. I'm determined to do it soon.
Out of the Humbrol colours, straight from a tinlet, which green [olive drab?] would I best be using?

Humbrol 155 is the nearest colour but considered too green so Mike Starmer came up with:

Humbrol 155 & Revell 42 mixed 50/50

Since I made that close match, the last tin of 155 I bought in December was slightly more brown than the one I first used. So 155 as it is now is much too brown. I have been trying to make an all Humbrol mix these last few weeks. I got close using three colours but not near enough. But these were very close; 6 x H159 + 2 xH150 + 1 x H33, or 3 x H154 + 1 x H33. Given the various manufacturers of the colour and photographic evidence these are probably fine.
