Hi Jane, I do enjoy the bases - they do all the hard work of composition for me and aside from anything else are a lot of fun!
The Sea Assault picture you have up there is a bit of a work in progress shot - there are some final shots in this gallery: http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/Airfix_1_76_D_Day_The_Sea_Assault_Gift_Set_A50156__about47634.html

Also I think the USAAF Airfield Set base is one of yours too - S221? http://airfixtributeforum.myfastforum.org/Airfix_1_72_WWII_USAAF_Airfield_Set_06903__about48990.html

I must get on with some of the others I have stashed...

Hi Jane,

Here's my take on the Airfix 1/32 Desert Outpost, using the Amera base. I converted it to a disused generic farmhouse, using coffee stirrers for floor boards and Plastikote light grey spray for the road, and dark grey for the walls. Feel free to use these if you want to.

Mark.

Amera's S131 Airfix D-Day Coastal Defence Fort base alongside their S226 Coastal Assault with S228 D-Day Bunker and the Airfix A05702 D-Day Coastal Defence Fort. There is a Heller Pak-40 in the bunker. I can't recall where I got the beach obstacles from, but I scratched the long hedgehogs. There are a few Revell and Matchbox German figures mixed in with Airfix German Infantry, Paratroops and Mountain Troops, and Airfix British Infantry and Commandos. Build details are here
