Just a quick note to say I'd love to see how this turned out, paint trouble and all.

Its back on the "To finish pile". Probably about three or four projects away from getting looked at. In time scales that could be anything from end of this summer to end of next summer!

De ja Vu. Here I am back at November 2015 with the shell. It has spent 24 hours in a solution of caustic soda and here is the result. I will be getting the primer back on it when the weather warms a bit again and I can do some spraying in the shed. Its then going to get Ford Purple Velvet top coat.

Managed to break off part of the window quarter light as I was obviously a bit too vigorous with removing the old paint. Now painted in in Primer ready for that small repair before it gets a top coat.

Like a revolving door this one. Top coat done and spectacular "Orange Peel" effect so off to the Caustic Soda bath again.
