If anyone wants to see a nicely preserved Thornycroft Amazon, there is one in the Milestones Museum in Basingstoke that covers the story of Thornycroft.

Well worth a visit http://www3.hants.gov.uk/milestones/ins ... stones.htm

This is an AEC Militant with Coles Crane at the Ilfracombe (central western Queensland) farm machinery museum. There is no information about this vehicle but I assume that it was a surplus military vehicle used in agriculture or mining in outback Queensland.
