So this turned up at work today (I work at York Museums Trust, UK)

Oh I see it's out at the warehouse- I recognise the surroundings. British 25 pounder gun- now all you need is a quad and limber to pull it. Is Andrew M. collecting artillery again like when he worked for EH?

It is in storage getting ready for the 1914 exhibition which will open in 2014. ;-)

Yes Andrew is looking after this bad boy. Are you two friends?

1914 exhibition? It's a WWII gun........
