Great looking B36, but isn't "Aluminium Overcast", a B17?

Should've said "Magnesium Overcast", my bad :shrug: could've also said "Big Stick" as it's just as appropriate :nod: :nod:

@wingnutemike
For reference, I have used the instructional sheet of Warbird decals.
This indicates the colors of Metallic Steel, Metallic Silver and Metallic Aluminum.

I first painted the model with Humbrol 11 Silver but this was a disaster, This silver color is no longer metallic, but looks like Humbrol 56 Aluminum :( .
The Humbrol 11 silver again removed with thinner and then painted again with Tamiya silver X11.

Wow, this is one of the most beautiful models I've seen of you, Gerald. Fantastic work. You did a good job especially on the metal finish.

Thank you for the nice comments, The B-36 has been painted with the brush. At this moment, I am looking forward to searching in my albums, After photos removed by Photo Bucket. New from the production line this Hawkeye, By my health, I decided to make fewer models (have increasing problems to hold small parts in my hands).
